As a young man he was fascinated by the bass lines of
Paul McCartney, Jack Bruce
and other 60's greats, he also enjoyed singing along with the pop songs from that era.
Listening to those cats on records he started copying licks until he found his own ideas.

He also likes the music of
Bill Wyman’s Rhythm’ Kings, J.J. Cale, Country und Blues.
Being a big fan of the Mardi Gras parade in New Orleans, he was named
Chief Walter Dee by the band.

His philosophical commentary on life:
